Hebrews 11:1 says that FAITH is being certain of what we don't see. . . if we have genuine faith, once we have prayed to Him about something, we should not be anxious anymore. Our petition should not pressure us anymore. Faith is having an inner peace that God will take care of things.

Psalm 138:7 though I walk in the midst of trouble, You'll revive me. You'll stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies. You're right hand will save me. . . it's in times of seemingly utter hopelessness that out God will bring our troubles to completion, causing the enemy to fail! In light of this, what reason would there ever be for us to despair?

Job, despite the hardships that the devil inflicted on him, said: God knows the way that I take (Job 23:10). God will always light our steps, and direct it if we obey Him. I hope, like Job, during his time of severe affliction and when all earthly hope was slashed, we will see nothing but the hand of God.

A lot of us are familiar are familiar with job's suffering. In 12:9, Job said THE HAND OF THE LORD HAS DONE THIS. Much the same way, in our life, God lets a stinging blow fall in our life. We bleed and our soul cries out. Sometimes, at first, we think the blow is a mistake. We question its purpose, we rebel. We forget that we are precious to God.

By FAITH, Abraham, when called to go to a place, obeyed and went, even though he didn't know where he was going (Heb 11:8). Isn't Abraham's faith amazing and kainggit?! He didn't know where he was going, it simply was enough for him to know he went with God! Didn't look at the difficulties that lies ahead but looked only to his king! He got up, left everything and followed God. . . because he is confident that the earth's best doesn't compare with heaven's least! Let's follow Abraham's example, let's set out cheerfully with God on any venture of faith. Tara!

Psal 119:42 I trust in your Word. . .It's always reassuring that we have God's word to rely on whatever situation we are in. I'm amazed that there's always a verse that applies to our situation and more so promises that He'll deliver us during challenges. No other book can claim that! And it is a blessing that we have all the opportunity to read His word.

My QT is about Jesus' second coming described clearly in 1 Thes 4:16-17. It reminds me that Jesus is coming soon! And how great his coming will be, better than any sunrise or sunset we've ever seen. And I pray that all my friends and family will be with me on that day - rejoicing for the fulfillment of His promise! Kita kits tayo!

What I think is happening to me us that I am only seeking my enjoyment of Jesus and not a true realization of Him.

The bible, although it has been existing for the longest time, continuous to have its profound meaning and our understanding of the words of the Lord progresses as we gain more understanding of Him. After the conference, the scripture started to make more sense to me and even to create a burden in me especially when I came to realize what God's will really is.

"They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance and they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth." Heb. 11:13

My QT is Eze 3:22: The hand of the Lord was upon me there and he said to me, "Get up and go out to the plain and there I'll speak to you."

For me it reaffirms us that God talks to us. That he is a God that's alike (unlike idols who are mere statues) and therefore will respond and we can rely upon.

[The Lord] heals the broken hearted. Ps 147:3 and He had indeed did so to me. We get hurt by what others say or do to us but the Lord is ever so graceful to allow us to just call on to Him.

On the other hand, He also tells us to be careful to deal with each other gently so as not to hurt especially with the words we say. We may not be aware that people around us are suffering from a hidden pain that's why just like how our Father in Heaven is graceful to us, so shall we be to our brothers and sisters by encouraging them with our smiles and generosity.

God loves us through people. He ministers to us through people. When we're sick, people visit us. When we need a hug, He sends a friend, bf/spouse. When we need encouragement, He sends someone to pat our shoulder. And when people rebuke us, we should think: Heaven sent 'yan kasi kino-correct ako. God won't make a personal appearance BUT He'll extend His hand through a person't hands. Thus when we don't allow others to come in our life, we are also not allowing God.

Matthew 9:21 says that is only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well. The verse tells us just how much faith plays in our healing. That truly, nothing is impossible if we believe. This reminds me also how God healed me last year. And I know He'll do that again and again if I just trust and claim it.

Had I not expected much, had I made room for faults, changes, and the not ideal, had I become realistic, I would not have been hurt because of disappointments.

God made each of us different and I must acknowledge that as Col. 3:13 says, "Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
